Chingiz Ajtmatov is the most significant figure in Kyrgyz literature, his works have been translated into more than a hundred languages. In addition to his literary activity, his social role is also significant. In the Hungarian Representative Office of the Turkish Council, he commemorates his life and work with a temporary exhibition.
