In memory of the sudden and tragic passing away of Ambassador János Hóvári, the professor and Turkologist, the Executive Head of the Representation Office of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Hungary, the OTS opened a book of condolences in the Ybl-villa. The Representation Office was receiving the messages of condolences every day between 10.00–12.00 a.m. and 14.00–16.00 p.m. between August 14–18, 2023.
In the course of the past days people who respected János Hóvári, his former colleagues, teachers and students, ambassadors, diplomats, the representatives of the ministries, social organizations and those of the media, as well as ordinary citizens paid a visit to the Ybl-villa so that they could express their condolences to the memory of János Hóvári.
The Representation Office has also created a virtual book of condolences which will provide an online opportunity to express condolences in the future too.
