The Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orbán is also taking part in the 9th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. The Head of the Government of Hungary will also be conducting bilateral talks with the leaders of the Turkic states.
The Prime Minister is accompanied for his official trip by Péter Szijjártó Péter, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, Márton Nagy, Minister for Economic Development, Balázs Orbán, the Political Director of the Prime Minister, Ambassador János Hóvári, the Executive Head of the Representation Office of OTS in Budapest. Almost 60 Hungarian businessmen will also be travelling to the Summit in Samarkand who will be participating in the programs of the Hungarian–Uzbek Business Forum. Besides the international political issues of today, during the Summit in Samarkand the issues of the economy, trade and transport will also be covered.
Prime Minister Viktor Orbán will also be conducting bilateral talks with his Turkic counterparts. During the next days, he will be meeting Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the President of Kazakistan, Sadyr Japarov, the President of Kyrgyzstan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President Uzbekistan and Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the President of Türkiye.
